Well,
I haven't updated in awhile...sorry guys. I had swine flu and have been trying to drag my grades up from the week I was out of school. Plus, I've been prepareing for NANOWRIMO...which officially starts on Nov. 1.
I will not be writing in November on this blog...unless it's to give a short and probably pointless update. However, I've decided that this is also a good place to vent, so my rants will be in normal print while the actual story will be in italic.
This week has been a blur. I met someone...we aren't dating...we're just messing around. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Right this instand, I'm fine with it. And DAMN is this girl hot! Anyway, if I dissapear it's because my mom found out and grounded me...
Hope you all have a great November!!

An Idea and an Apology
Well, here we are, one week in and I should be posting the first part of a story or a poem at least but I am dreadfully underprepared. So, I beg you to wait another week for the beginning of the story I'll be posting on here.
Here, however, is the basic idea:
Here, however, is the basic idea:
We have destroyed our planet.
There are too many people scrambling to survive here and not enough to go around.
In the year 2012 the governments of several countries decided to take action.
Action to improve this world, to save it.
They brought the world's population from 6.8 billion to 2.2 billion.
It was meant to be brought to 2 billion even.
The other .2 are the survivors.
These are the ones deemed unfit for the New World but won't lay down and die.
Now, the year's 2021.
Sonya 'Red' Anderson is 16 years old.
She barely remembers a time before what the Fight for Freedom soldiers call 'Ground Zero'.
It's time for her to fight against the unjustice.
Andrea Kentian is the daughter of the North American Ambassador.
She is seventeen years old.
Her life has been sheltered, her education has taught her that what the New World officals call 'The Purification' was nescessary, and she has never commited a crime.
In a years time she will take her place at her mother's side.
She is Sonya's first target.
Fate brings them together.
But will hate tear them apart?
Well, I hope that catches your attention!
Also, that will not be the only thing I post so be on the watch for poetry, and other short stories to break up The New World.
Thanks for reading, see you next week!

This is my first attempt at blogging
Hey there readers!
Well, like the title says this is the first time I've blogged...ever. So, I thought it would be best to tell you a little bit about myself (besides the stuff you can find in my google profile). I am, first and foremost, a writer (which is why I created this blog...). On good days, I'm also a great high school student (on bad days I might show up but I feel sorry for my teachers). I'm a Senior on tract to graduate in May (finally) and I'm looking at colleges to attend.
Someone told me that a blog is a great way to "publish" my writing and get on publisher's radars...which would be amazing. But, if that doesn't happen, I hope you all enjoy reading what I decide to put up.
Well, leave a comment if you're interested and come back for more ( I think there's actually a way you can subscribe to blogs, isn't that neat?)
